Beyond its idyllic location, Muzimu provides an intimate retreat with only 6 meticulously designed canvas tents, each boasting its a private deck, the lodge ensures a premium safari experience. The lovely East African style tents are furnished with twin beds that can convert to king-size extra-length beds and have en-suite bathrooms complete with modern conveniences such as flush toilets, basins, and showers. The tents are fitted with solar lighting, mosquito screens, Wi-Fi and tea and coffee facilities.
The lodge offers a central dining area with an outside panoramic deck, a stylish lounge and bar and an inviting swimming pool.

Gorongosa National Park, situated at the southern end of the Great African Rift Valley in Mozambique, is characterized by seasonal flooding, diverse habitats, and fertile ground, fostering abundant wildlife. Despite challenges posed by the Mozambican Civil War, efforts led by the Carr Foundation/Gorongosa Restoration Project aim to restore the park's ecosystem and promote ecotourism for the benefit of local communities, leveraging the unique dynamics of seasonal flooding to support the park's rich biodiversity.
