The four luxury, en-suite rooms are available on B&B basis or four of the suites on S/C basis, if you prefer that option. These rooms are equipped with Satellite TV and WiFi and high quality beds and linen. A full South African breakfast is free under the B&B rates, and may be enjoyed overlooking the splendid sylvan woodland garden and forest, in the summer period from the garden room. In the winter meals are served in the heated main dining room. Secure off-street parking for vehicles is also available. The House is set in the beautiful safe, and tranquil up market suburb called Eden, situated in the heart of George and adjacent to the Kat Berg nature reserve, and the town mountain dam.
Further options available to the discerning guests, is the S/C three bed roomed , three bath roomed fully equipped large villa, with own lounge / dining room and up market granite kitchen ideal for longer stay guest groups or families and a further two garden cottages also available on B&B or S/C options equipped to a very high standard with extra-long beds
The Guest House itself is set in a beautiful garden with a salt water pool, affording guests an oasis of peace and tranquility, yet less than two minutes from the CBD of George and close to some of the towns finest restaurants. Bird life abounds in the garden, many pleasant bird-watching hours may be spent in the guest house sun room or on the lower and upper pool veranda's or from within the guest lounge, which all face the indigenous forest at the foot of the garden, where often monkeys play and larger birds such as the Knysna Loerie are frequently seen.

George as the hub of the Garden Route, is in an idyllic setting with a very temperate climate, and an ideal base from which to explore the many attractions of the surrounding Garden Route and its hinterland, as it is an easy drive to the adjacent tourist areas of Knysna , Oudtshoorn and Mossel Bay - so one need not relocate accommodation daily, rather unpack and make Edenwood your home base.
Superb clean and safe beaches such as Victoria Bay, Herold's Bay and Wilderness are but minutes drive away.
We are the closest Guest house/B&B to the Outeniqua golf driving range and the town's shopping mall. Dawn can supply information on the various garden route attractions and assist with reservations or whatever other help you require, to make your visit special.

Attractions:
George has always been a popular holiday and relaxation area of the country, with special emphasis on superb golfing facilities coupled to a mild climate that makes a visit possible throughout the year. There is always something to see, in and around the town and the Outeniqua basin or the coastal areas.
*Victoria Bay - 4km to the east of Edenwood, is world-renown for its surfing, particularly during the winter months June to end of August.
*Herold's Bay - a naturally beautiful beach site 11km southwest of Edenwood, is known for its safe tidal pool, sea swimming and fishing.
*Wilderness most definitely renowned for its long white beaches, natural dark stained rivers, lakes and estuaries, this pristine area is ideal for bird watching and outdoor activities such as hang gliding, wind surfing, fishing, canoeing, kloofing and hiking. A walk along the beach at sunset is a great experience.
*Outeniqua mountains, the bastions that surround George on its plateau above the sea , provide pristine hiking and walking or just site seeing or excellent photographic destinations. The area abounds with historic buildings/ bridges roads and mountain passes- train and other museums.
The entire Garden Route is a natural garden that is part of the Cape Floral Kingdom, the world's smallest but richest plant kingdom, boasting some eight thousand species of flora and fauna. At all times of the year, the visitor is able to revel in an abundance of Ericas (heathers), Proteas and Restios - the main components of Fynbos. The spectacular Wildflower Show staged by the South Cape Herbarium annually in October is a not-to-be-missed event as is the strawberry festival held in September annually.
