Writing this review for a friend of mine who stayed here for 1 night, on business from S Africa.
His words: "absolute gem of a place run by an English guy who's been here a few years. Clean, tidy, well thought out, great food. Im definitely going to consider bringing the family here at some point in the future- top marks"
They definitely did a good job with renovations. Had a couple of friends over and we enjoyed our stay there. Great stuff and food. I’d advise you checkout their bar area I really loved what they did with the furniture (Woodwork on point with less processing, felt like I was sitting on a tree instead of a chair.
Ps: they have a pool…
The customer service has improved drastically, the quality of food was good but now is great
Loved the cleanliness and hygiene of the place - the new ownership shoes that they're very commited and care about the customers - overall 8.5/10 - definitely recommend a stay
So we booked the place for a country and western music jamboree, an overnight event. I'll be honest, we were skeptical while making bookings, we called endlessly confirming amenities and boom, the manager was very nice and welcoming on the phone. We did not even book online but we called him and he did the booking on our behalf. Fast forward, when we arrived, he was waiting to welcome us, we were led to our rooms, clean and recently painted rooms. Aircons functioned well and we loved our checking in experience. There, we were outdoors during the night, gathered around our camp fire and we loved the experience and treatment received. We chilled on the next day and enjoyed a quiet time out.
Comfortable accommodation, great food in the restaurant. A really nice place to stay over and break the long journey between Durban and Inhambane (Mozambique).
Great Stay Had a great stay at Lituba Lodge and was very impressed with the lodge and the hospitality shown. I will be back.
The perfect balance We are a family of six and we have had a great experience at the Lituba Lodge. Staying at the Lituba Lodge is the ideal balance between the immersion in the Swazi countryside and the comfort of well furnished round cottages.
Basic but good price We had a 1 night stop over in Lituba lodge. Accommodation is basic but ok. Price quality is correct. Very friendly staff.
Very nice A warm welcome received and staff all very helpful.
We stayed at Lituba Lodge and found it a very nice place to spend the night. However, it would have been nice if there was a little fridge in the rondavels. We were passing through from St. Lucia to Krugerpark and we had some food and drinks in the car.
