Each villa features a sophisticated interior composition in all colors of coffee and cream where filmy caramel colored curtains billow, dark grained polished floors extend, and the decor is a unique marriage of colonial grandeur and traditional design. On the veranda, a silk-draped four-poster Zanzibar Bed accents a sunken, midnight blue plunge pool with long views of the Indian Ocean.The Palms is nestled between fabulous tropical gardens and a wonderful white sandy beach. There are many fantastic features that reflect true Zanzibar character and warmth with local architecture. The Palms consists of 7 gorgeous villas that are more than 140 square meters. The villas have a bedroom, full en suite bathroom, living room, dressing room, large furnished terrace and an extra room. The rooms boast breathtaking views of the magnificent Indian Ocean. Each villa has a sophisticated feel with hues of coffee, creams and caramel. The rooms have a private outdoor plunge pool, DSTV, a DVD player, safety deposit box, mini bar, telephone, coffee/tea making facilities and air conditioning.
The restaurant at The Palms offers unique cuisine, with spices and fruits, blending all the flavors of the exotic island. The very elegant terrace leads into the superb spice inspired bar and onto the elegant dining room. Guests can enjoy a scrumptious breakfast, lunch and dinner at The Palms as well as afternoon tea, mineral water, juices, soft drinks and a selection of great wines.
Guests at The Palms are permitted to use the neighbouring frangipani Spa for some much needed treatments.
