Area Information:The Waterberg is considered by many to be South Africa's best keep secret. With its rugged beauty, and diversity in plant and animal life, the Waterberg Nature Conservancy has been developed, which is an amalgamation of conservation areas covering more than 150,000 hectares.

Most Romantic experience ever! Very professional game ranger, food out of this world. Spa treatment was a wonderful experience! This lodge compares to any 5 star lodge. Beautiful interiors. Will go back for sure!
We stayed in the Treehouse which is the most incredible and unique spot - a once in a lifetime experience.
We had a wonderful stay: very warm and welcoming hosts, a very nice ranger, super service like drinks on the safari, evening service in the rooms! The view is breathtaking, the food very delicious, the chef is amazing! The spa is unbelievable - we truly had the best massage ever!!! Thanks to everyone for an unforgettable stay!

We arrived at Bushwa late in the evening after a long journey to a candlelit dinner and a wonderful welcome. The level of comfort and service was impeccable and nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. The opportunity to relax and recharge in the bushveld in such a beautiful location was fantastic.
I had an amazing time at the lodge with my family, I couldn't believe how stunning the lodge is and can't stop showing photographs and bragging to friends and family. The chef was heavenly sent, I miss his food so much and the rest of the staff is so polite. Bushwa is really a home away from home. We can't wait for our next visit with close friends and family.
What a fantastic weekend. We enjoyed every minute. A beautiful, tranquil home from home. The food is excellent, and Deon and Annamarie rate among the best hosts ever, welcoming but not overbearing. The luxury tented chalets are fantastically comfortable and the finishes in the lodge show distinguished attention to detail. The tree house is awesome, luxury in the heart of nature. The landscape is spectacular and the lodge shows a touching commitment to conservation. Seeing the baby giraffe was the highlight of the weekend. We cannot wait to go back.
We had a magnificient stay.....Dion and Annemarie were exceptional hosts who made us feel welcome and one of the family immediately. The accommodation was fabulous, tent house luxuriously furnished and loved the outside shower, treehouse was an absolute wonderful experience, brought you back to nature - waterhole right at your feet absolutely peacefull. We willmost certainly visit again and again. Simply put, it had been a marvellous experience which we will remember always. The Website does not do the Game Lodge justice there if more to the lodge than meets the eye.

What we had in Vaalwater was amazing! Things that everyone wanna see but my wish is to visit one of the best Lodges in our area which is "Tshwene lodge".
I definitely recommend it, we had so much fun and enjoyed the swimming, fishing and walks around the lodge. Its clean and beautiful. The staff are friendly and helpful. We cannot wait to go back again.
My goodness! What a heavenly place! We booked Eagles Nest and it was everything as advertised and more. Gréât cycling and game driving. The view is just incredible from our beds. The house felt just like home - cosy, inviting, easy to live in. The night skies were magical. Sunrise and sunsets breath taking. Wonderful friendly staff. Thank you!!
