KwaMbili Game Lodge provides an authentic safari experience at an affordable price. KwaMbili is situated in the Thornybush Game Reserve near Hoedspruit, within the Greater Kruger area. The reserve is home to the Big Five as well as an abundance of other game and bird species. This means good sightings on game drive or around the camp. KwaMbili means "Place of Two" in the local Shangaan language.
Our knowledgeable rangers will introduce you to the tracks, movements, sights and sounds which give you a window into the secrets of the African bush. Back at the lodge, view wildlife from the safety and comfort of our well-positioned hide. If all this calls for time to just let the experience sink in ... take a dip in the swimming pool, just relax in an armchair or enjoy a cool drink at the bar.
Accommodation at KwaMbili consists of a thatched chalet or large Meru style safari tents. All have shower and toilet and electric power, their own patio and mosquito nets over the beds.
The chalet is positioned closer to the main building and isair-conditioned.
The air-conditioned safari tents are further from the main building, each under a thatched roof. The flaps can be opened or closed according to the weather. They also have an open air shower and toilet.

Reviews
We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Kwa-Mbili and were exceptionally well looked after by Neil and Melanies team. From Michael and Tiana (the young management couple) to Andrew (the intern), Eddie (the spotter/tracker) to the kitchen staff at the lodge, it was all one big relaxing break intermingled with a whole lot of game spotting; including the Big 5!
Thank you all from Hamish, Michelle, James and Kate Scott

Hoedspruit Reviews
Beautiful and Clean, pity a place like Mali Mali can upset a persons Holiday... an event that was meant to be legendary! Mali Mali is not as per there website... they manipulate the internet!
The nature.
Morokologa game reserve, we spend our Christmas at the camp and we had a beautiful game drive and morning walks with my grandmother. Played games and reconnected as a family.
Most of Gold cabins- the weather - the sound of the birds-
Since we have family and old colleagues in Hoedspruit we enjoy everything. Love going to Hoedspruit for a weekend break away.
The quietness.
It’s a beautiful town which is easily accessible and has all the convenient shopping around the lodges nearby and one is able to do various activities around the area.

The town is very small yet beautiful and neat. It has lots of tourist attractions and good place to visit, just to unwind!
