Our luxurious chalets are set in a 5ha garden on a 305 ha farm with magnificent views over the Zululand plains and the battlefields of Rorke's Drift and Isandlwana in the distance. We offer a Bed and Breakfast or Self Catering option for our guests along with Battlefield tours, horse riding and birding tours.

In Room Facilities:

Each unit has a fully fitted kitchenette, lounge/dining area, cable TV, a deck with fire pit and "braai" area. Free tea and coffee, hairdryers, electric blankets, ceiling/standing fans and en-suite bathrooms.

Area Information:

Rorke's Drift is in a remote, very picturesque area. Access is along a 21km stretch of dirt road and the access road to the Lodge is a 5km farm track. It is advisable to travel during the day due to the remoteness of the area. There are no street lights and signage is not well illuminated at night.

Property Facilities:

The Decks outside the chalets are ideal for spending days just relaxing and enjoying the ambience and soaking up the African experience with a sundowner in your hand. Free safe undercover parking. Horseriding. Battlefield Tours. Lots of places to walk and hike. Guests are welcome to bring along mountain bikes. Art Gallery with original art by Christine Lamberth.
