Highly recommended to anyone who needs peace, beauty in surrounding and to relax!!
Nice evening vibe. Sushi buffet was Devine!
Visiting the wineries.
The Spice Route is definitely a plus. But the town itself has some stunning spots. There are open green parks along the river which are perfect for picnics, and there are ample shops and restaurants to enjoy.
The farm scenery.
The history and amazing views!
It was raining so we didn't get to enjoy it's beauty as much.
Beautiful nature.
More info about Paarl
The scenic town of Paarl is a 40-minute drive outside Cape Town, at the foot of the second-largest granite outcrop in the world. This green leafy suburb is full of giant oaks donated by Simon van der Stel, Governor of the Cape of Good Hope colony which provides shade on the hot summer days. The scenic beauty of the Paarl Valley and the richness in fauna and flora attracted the attention of Charles Darwin, when he came to the valley in 1836.
High on the Paarl Mountain and celebrating the birth of Afrikaans is the Afrikaans Language Monument and just outside Paarl is the Victor Verster Prison, where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated and started his walk to freedom.
There are so many great things to do in Paarl: enjoy the experience of a lifetime and go hot-air ballooning! Or visit a crocodile breeding farm, snake park or climb Bretagne Rock and follow one of the many... Show more
About Self Catering
Self Catering places can be found from rural to urban areas and can vary in what they offer. They allow plenty freedom and is a great inexpensive way to spend your holiday. They have been widely classified as a “Home away from home”. This is a good option for guests who don’t mind cooking their own food, and are looking for a more independent and flexible form of accommodation. For budget and large families, we would recommend self-catering for a more personalised experience.
