This school draws students from all over South Africa from as young as three years old. From these children, 90% of them are boarding.
There are strong sporting attractions in this town such as the Gillitts Sports Club which has squash courts and a bowling green. Extremists can partake in paragliding which is popular from the hills in the area. Homes in this area, situated in the western part of Durban between the Drakensberg Mountains, boast tennis courts and swimming pools. Jan Smuts Avenue is a road that stretches for five kilometres of colourful homes that lead into the "island" known as Winston Park. Sash windows and farmhouse kitchens are contrasted with modern constructions where old and new styles meet. The view is the same from any interior with views of the gorge or the sea.
