We enjoyed the weekend away in the Cape Winelands.

The beautiful 2 bedrooms and 2 bathroom cottage located a few kms drive from the farm entrance creates a tranquil and relaxing farm environment snugged in between the vineyards. The farm has a few Springbokke roaming the grass fields around the cottage.

The cottage was clean and very comfortable with a well equipped and quite modern kitchen. The lounge fireplace is an absolute save if you are visiting them during the colder months. The units don't offer any TVs but wifi is available and a Bluetooth speaker for music.

If you are looking for a relaxing time away from the city buzz this is your place, being woken up every morning with the sounds birds and guinea fowl - priceless.

Although I have been here once before, this time I stayed in the Shepherds Cottage. WOW!!! This was even better. The cottage is a genuine old cottage that was renovated, there are pictures in a small album on the book shelf. This unit has the authentic look and feel of a farm house. It is totally awesome, swimming in your private splash pool, watching Springbuck and other wild life grazing nearby. It is very peaceful, and relaxing. The cottage is also very well kitted out, with a huge en-suite bathroom in the main bedroom. There is a huge bath for soaking away all the City stress LOL. I definitely recommend taking your family here. We had an awesome time, my family members were really impressed. We will definitely return, and enjoy all the farm has to offer.

We only stayed for a weekend, which was obviously too short. We enjoyed it so much that we didn't want to leave. The chalet was very cute with with upmarket decor. Waking up between vineyards is an absolute experience. A small collection of animals on the farm makes you think you're at the Kruger, lol. Splash pool, fire pit, indoor fire place, and huge showers that feels like rain on your skin makes the stay very comfortable. Lots of interesting attractions close by, like Paarl Rock Nature Reserve for hiking, mountain biking, or a lazy picnic. I.will definitely return to this establishment. Top class.

A huge thanks to Willem for the stay, We lived the cottage. The location is brilliant, nice and quiet and beautiful views of the farm and the vineyards beyond. The cottage itself was spotless and really comfortable, And was cleaned daily which was hugely appreciated. The only thing I would have liked is a washing machine, given it is self catering. But that is only very minor and would not stop me returning. See you again soon!!

This farm is very pretty and over 200 hectares big. Walking in between the vineyards and olive-trees with no other sounds than the wind is a great getaway and still so close to Cape Town. The Vineyard Cottage we stayed in was or looked really new ( I think at least the kitchen was just put in) and it;s all of high quality. Our two boys enjoyed the cool blue-tooth radio they could use to play music from their cellphones on. This cottage does not have a fireplace which is a pity, but we made a fire outside in the private braai area. There is a splash pool as well as as a fire pit, you have to share these with the two other cottages next door. If you want to see the wild animals they keep on one part of the farm, you have to walk there or take your car. However, the Stable and Shepherds Cottage are within this fenced area and the animals can be walking around your cotta
