The three guesthouses are situated on top of the farm and do have spectacular views over the Paarl valley. The cape dutch buildings have thatched roofs and all amnesties of modern living. There is a pool with plenty of space to relax and rejuvenate between the vineyards.

In Room Facilities:

The interior of the home is luxuriously appointed with sophisticated furnishings and tastefully rustic decor. All rooms are designed with comfort in mind, having quality linens as well as spacious bathrooms with refreshing rain showers. Accommodation is available in both the main house and the guest cottage. The lounge area features a professional Snooker table and dart board. There is plenty of comfortable seating, including a handsome leather couch. Two large fireplaces ensure that the home remains snug and warm throughout the year. The home includes DStv access, a DVD player, and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Area Information:

The valley was first discovered by European settlers in 1658 and land grants were made to 14 farming families in 1700. The town itself was developed in 1743 when the museum church was built. Post the 1969 earthquake every historic home in Church Street was painstakingly restored to its original glory. These 32 buildings now constitute the largest concentration of National Monuments in a single street in South Africa.

Property Facilities:

The farm is 5km away from the historic town of Paarl, there are plenty of restaurants ans shops close by.

Attractions:

Nearby attractions include hiking to the Waterfall and excellent mountain biking trails. Guests are encouraged to bring their bikes.

We rented 2 cottages for 2 nights and it was fabulous! My parents and brother arrived from Europe and these were their first 2 nights in Africa. It couldn't have been better.

The Spice Route is definitely a plus. But the town itself has some stunning spots. There are open green parks along the river which are perfect for picnics, and there are ample shops and restaurants to enjoy.

Central to the winelands, friendly people, country-side but still close to Cape Town.

Probably one of the best places to stay in the Western Cape. In the Winelands, close enough to CPT to not be in the rush, great mountains and views and activities.
