Comfortable, inviting, Karoo! The hosts are friendly and helpful! We felt at home the moment we arrived on the farm. It was our first but will definitely not be our last!

What lovely little guest houses Berlinda and Andrei have set up at Woolvekraal. Each located a bit separately to have the privacy you like and have a magnificent dark surrounding to have the perfect view of the milky way. A pity that we stayed only one night, with the cute Prince Albert only a short distance away, definitely good for two or three nights. Fully recommended!

We had a lovely stay at Wolwekraal. The room Granaatbos, is beautifully decorated, clean and well equipped. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Do order the options to braai, it is well worth it. Wonderful for quiet slow walks, stargazing and relaxing.

It was great the possibility to have a fire, and local sausages to cook on it!
The views are breathtaking, and watching the stars at night incredible.

Lovely little gem of a town. Lots of things to do, eateries and little shops and galleries to visit. At the base of the most spectacular mountain pass in all Africa.

The charm and character of this town impressed me. The Karoo gardens are beautiful and there are interesting local products for sale. I recommend the book shop in Marlene's home.

Prince Albert is a lovely little town at the foot of the Swartberg Mountains.
What struck me in particular is how clean the streets are and the friendliness of the locals.
We went to a movie in “The Showroom” and were surprised to find such an amazing Art deco gem in the middle of the Karoo. “The Showroom” boasts state-of-the-art theatre and cinema equipment, making it suitable to facilitate and attract some of the country’s top performers.
