Bougainvillea offer 4 spacious B&B rooms and a large 2 bedroom self-catering cottage. All rooms are serviced daily and are of high standard. Rooms all have en-suite showers air-conditioned, DStv and tea & coffee facilities in the rooms. Your home from home. Immaculate accommodation.

Our self-catering unit has 2 bedroom, one en-suite shower and a 2nd bath/toilet, lounge, DStv and kitchen. This unit is situated next to the swimming pool. The other rooms have:

We enjoyed our stay at Bougainvillea very much. The host was very kind to send her husband to direct us to Bougainvillea, as unfortunately, we did get lost in finding the place on the first day.
It was very convenient having our own parking bay, and so close to the cottage. The kitchen was a bit tight, but she did have cutlery, crockery, microwave and the electric kettle. Also, the host was thoughtful, and gave us tea bags, milk, sugar, dish washing liquid to get us started. The cottage was serviced daily, even on Sunday. This was fabulous, coming back to a clean cottage, and also did change the linen and towels regularly.
Some disadvantages, there is no oven. the window handles look a bit rusty. If a person was showering, and someone washed a dish in the kitchen, this would affect the flow and hot and cold to the shower, so you would have to adjust the water. Perhaps the plumbing needs some attention. Also some people may need cups and saucers to drink out of instead of the big mugs.
However, all in all we enjoyed our stay at Bougainvillea, and the atmosphere in the cottage does have a nice homely feel to it. Loved the little shelves and tables where you could place hair brushes, medicines etc. Also liked her bedrooms and her bathrooms.
