Welcome to Earth Cottage Hermanus.
Just 5 km into the beautiful Hemel-en-Aarde Valley you'll come across Earth Cottage. It's the ideal self-catering breakaway - on a small equestrian farm. You will not need to travel on any dirt road; a little tarred road leads right to your garden gate.
Earth Cottage is near the whale-watching coast of Hermanus, on the Wine Route that runs through the beautiful Hemel-en-Aarde Valley.
Bordering the renowned Hamilton Russell Vineyards and flanked by equally famous Bouchard Findlayson Estate, Earth Cottage is perfectly positioned for anyone wanting to explore the Walker Bay Wine District's 15 wine estates. You'll have the entire semi-detached cottage to yourselves.
The cottage is tucked away on a smallholding in the valley, and yet it's only 6 km from the beach. Hermanus town is a stone's throw away. Earth Cottage is comfortable and cosy. The open-plan lounge and dining area leads to the font stoep with distant views over Hamilton Russell Vineyards and of our own humble (but often generous) orchard.
With a double bed in the bedroom and a single bed and sleeper couch in the open-plan living area, it is the perfect self-catering bridal retreat or stay-over for a couple, or perhaps a family of three or four. Free uncapped Internet.
The stoep (porch) looks out over one of our paddocks. Our Arabian horses are almost always in sight.
In the kitchen you'll find a four-burner gas stove, microwave oven, kettle, fridge/frezer, washing machine and ample cutlery and crockery. Towels, linen and fire wood for your first braai will be ready for you.

What a stunning cottage in such an amazing farm setting. Everything one could ask for- it's a relaxing and tranquil getaway. Close proximity to Hermanus, stunning wine farms, restaurants etc. Would highly recommend
