Röhrs Farm Guesthouse is a spacious country house where Remo and Heidrun will welcome you in German, Afrikaans and English.
The peace and quiet, tranquillity and stunning view are some of the things that make guests want to come back again. Guests are wakened by bird-song and can enjoy a full English- and Continental breakfast which is served in the spacious, sitting-/ dining room or on the veranda with a lovely view onto the large, well-kept garden and wide open spaces.
All rooms are spacious, each with a private entrance from the well-kept garden.
Heyshopedam is nearby and Swaziland lays about 50km away. Wakkerstroom, famous for paragliding and it’s beautiful wetland birdwatching reserve, is 70km from us.
For people travelling between the Kruger National Park and Kwazulu-Natal or the Indian Ocean, our guesthouse is the perfect place to sleep over or relax for a few days.
The German immigrants moved to this area in 1859 and since then there is a 4 and 5 generation German community in this area.
Come and enjoy the peace and quiet, lovely views and abundant bird life.
