Refreshingly different ...Ocean Vista offers a magnificent roof-top deck with amazing views of the Indian Ocean and 7 elegant ocean view bedrooms, within a tranquil, beautiful setting where you will feel at home, inspired to work but also feel you are on holiday. Contemporary in design, well located for both corporate business and discerning leisure travellers visiting Umhlanga and exploring Durban, our guest house combines warm hospitality with personalized service and offers plenty of space to enjoy amazing Durban sunrises, balmy evenings and sights and sounds of the ocean. Starting a day with a delicious alfresco breakfast with our breath taking views makes every visit all the more special.
Due to nature of the property we regret no children under 12 and not suitable for physically challenged!

Snezana and her team are top notch! The attention to detail, in both design and service, is exceptional.

I enjoyed every minute. Room 1 is amazing and Snezana is a most kind and considerate host which added to the enjoyment.
Breakfast and service are excellent. Dorothy's delicious omelette should not be missed when staying there. Good location, close enough to everything, by car but very safe and quiet.
I enjoyed my 7 days at this modern guest house very much. Snezana's great attention to detail and the warm and welcoming nature of the whole team was fantastic.

I highly recommend Ocean Vista. The whole guest house is beautiful but it is their personal attention to their guests’ needs that truly makes the difference and make it stand out from any other guesthouse or hotel!
Our room was perfect with everything we needed for our stay, plus the fabulous balcony with endless ocean views - I could sit there all day and just watch the ships go by. If you want peace and quiet and beautiful views and personal service to top it all, this is the place to stay at in Umhlanga.
This is the best place to stay in Durban/Umhlanga. Snezana and her staff go out of their way to make one feel welcome and comfortable. The setting and view is out of this world, the rooms are elegant and very clean.
The owner has wonderful taste and it is reflected in each room. I really appreciated the late checkout. The high ratings are deserved, I will certainly recommend this guest house.
