Area Information:

Paarl is an hour’s drive from Cape Town on the N1 highway to the north. As one of the bigger towns in the Winelands, it provides a wide variety of services to the community and visitors. Farming and related industries, as well as tourism provide a livelihood for many of the town’s inhabitants. The climate is typically Mediterranean with warm to hot Summers, and mild pleasant Springs and Autumns. The beautiful mountains and valleys, and wonderful wines make Paarl a favorite among visitors to the southern part of South Africa. It's central location, friendly people and natural beauty makes is a true gem not to be missed.

Property Facilities:

Lounge chairs, pool loungers and sun umbrellas provide all day comfort outside the rooms and around the pool. The lounge area and terrace are furnished with board games, a small library, cable television (DSTV Premium) as well as an honesty bar. Breakfast is served on the terrace if the weather permits it.

Attractions:

Paarl is surrounded by mountains, vineyards, wine farms, restaurants and much more. Did you know that Paarl is also home to a Cheetah sanctuary, Lion Park and Alpaca farm? Visit the Afrikaans Language Monument with its amphitheater and gardens and get to know our people better. Jan Phillips Drive gives access to the Paarl Mountain Reserve where you can picnic, use the hiking and biking trails, and climb the rocks for a view of Table Mountain. A visit to the gardens at Babylonstoren is a unique experience and Fairview and Spice Route are not to be missed. Your host will provide you with more information and maps. One night's stay won't be enough..

The Spice Route is definitely a plus. But the town itself has some stunning spots. There are open green parks along the river which are perfect for picnics, and there are ample shops and restaurants to enjoy.

Probably one of the best places to stay in the Western Cape. In the Winelands, close enough to CPT to not be in the rush, great mountains and views and activities.
