8 Waterfront is an elegantly furnished self-catering apartment located in the popular, secure Waterfront complex in Umdloti Beach, KwaZulu-Natal. The complex is located across the road from the beach, and is also close to various bars, restaurants and shops.
Waterfront 8 is located on the 2nd floor and can accommodate up to 4 guests. The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The first bedroom contains a king-size bed that can be converted to 2 single beds, a ceiling fan, and sliding doors opening to the balcony. The second bedroom contains a bunk bed, a ceiling fan, and a sleeper couch. The bathroom contains a shower, a bath, a toilet and a washbasin.
The apartment is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a stove and oven, fridge-freezer, a microwave, and a dishwasher, as well as a breakfast bar with stools. The dining area contains a 4-seater dining table and benches. The lounge area is air-conditioned and has a ceiling fan. It contains a flat-screen TV. The living area opens to a spacious sheltered balcony with outdoor dining furniture and seating, and stunning sea views.
The complex offers a lovely communal swimming pool area, and large lawns where guests can soak up the sun, as well as direct beach access.
There is also a breakage and disturbance deposit of R1500 per booking which is refundable after your stay as well as a community levy of R10 per night.

Umdloti has very conveniently located magnificent stretches of pristine golden beaches with shark nets, clear water, large safe tidal pool, delightful paved walks beside the sea and outstanding restaurants like Mundo Vida with sea views. Simple open air changing rooms like those seen on European beaches would be an improvement.
