Hermanus Beach Villa offers seven rooms of different categories. All rooms have ocean views and access to a private balcony. The rooms are accommodated over the two floors which the guesthouse has to offer.
The public area houses our homelike breakfast room as well as a lounge in which guests as well as Charl and Riana meet for a chat about the exciting experiences of the day or to plan new adventures. Moreover, the Hermanus Beach Villa possesses a garden in which famous South African BBQs, so called braais, can be celebrated.
Our guest house is situated in the quiet neighbourhood of Voelklip. Our cosy accommodation is situated only a few steps away from the Voelklip beach, the Blue Flag Grotto beach as well as the famous cliff path which leads approximately 12 km along the scenic Whale Coast Route of Hermanus and stretches from the New Harbour in Westcliff to the Grotto Beach right next to the Hermanus Beach Villa. It is accessible from many points along the route and offers scenic views and fantastic possibilities for close up whale watching in season. As this path is part of the Fernkloof Nature Reserve, you will experience the nearly untouched flora and fauna of Hermanus.
Flanked by beautiful white beaches, watched over by magnificent mountains of the Overberg area, Hermanus in South Africa hugs the seafront of Walker Bay on the Atlantic Ocean. Another major attraction to Hermanus is the fact that it is home to an amazing collection of art galleries and many well-known South African artists are located throughout Hermanus. Even though Hermanus has grown rapidly during the past decade offering up market shops, fine restaurants and luxury Hermanus accommodation options, the town has retained its traditional village charm from a bygone era.
The city is internationally known as the home of the Southern Right Whale, which can easily be observed from June to December.
