Karoo Farm Strydomsvlei is a beautiful working farmhouse situated on a working farm in the Karoo. Here you will forget about the hustle and bustle and simply relax and live off the grid.

The house has a rustic feel to it and offers 6 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a guest toilet, a comfy lounge with a fireplace for the winter months, a dining area also with a fireplace, an enclosed veranda with another dining table & chairs, and a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast table.
There is a gas stove and a donkey for warm water.
There is also a small separate rustic braai Lapa fitted with a built-in fireplace, round bar table, and high chairs.

You will experience the magnitude of the Karoo stars and breathtaking sunsets, and will also be able to see a working farm in action. You can also see wild antelope and one of the largest flying birds in Southern Africa, Kori Bustard. Karoo hospitality awaits you.

Great trails for mountain biking, walking, hiking, and bird watching.
Swimming in the dam is a must after a warm Karoo warm day.We are fortunate to have a number of the rare Shepherds trees (Witgatboom) growing on the farm.
Hunting can be arranged by appointment during the hunting season.
