Please be advised that you will need a 4x4 vehicle to gain access to the property due to the sandy roads.

Mar Azul 4 is situated on Mar Azul beach housing estate in Ponta Malongane. This 4 bedroom, 10 sleeper house is situated in the beachfront row of houses and has its own private walkway leading from the house directly onto the beach. 2 kids under 12 can be accommodated on pull-out beds. Please advise if this is required prior to arrival so that the staff can prepare them for you

This house is the owner's second home away from home and has been equipped and furnished to make your stay most comfortable.

The house has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. On the left of the house, there are 2 bedrooms that share 1 bathroom. Bedroom 1 has 1 queen size bed with a single roll out bed underneath. Bedroom 2 has 1 double bed and 1 single bed. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, and hand basin. On the right of the house, there are bedrooms 3 and 4, bedroom 3 has 1 queen size bed with a single roll out bed underneath, and bedroom 4 has 1 double bed and 1 single bed. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, and hand basin. All beds have mosquito nets and overhead ceiling fans, the aircon in the rooms are non functional. 2 of the bedrooms open up onto the outside deck and you can have your morning coffee in bed while looking out over the ocean. The other 2 bedrooms look out into the forest. All linen is provided. The house comfortably sleeps 8 adults and 2 kids under the age of 12.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. There are 3 fridges and 1 box deep freeze. There is an electric oven and glass stovetop, 2 electric chip fryers, kettle, coffee plungers, a filter coffee machine with paper filters/glass coffee pot, and all crockery and cutlery required for self-catering.

There is a gas braai on the outside deck overlooking the ocean, gas is supplied. There is also a charcoal braai behind the house for those windy days.

The house has a backup generator for when there are power outages.

No candles are allowed inside the house as the house is built from wood and this is a fire hazard.

No smoking is allowed inside the house.

Anna is the housekeeper, she only works at this house and does cleaning daily. If you would like laundry done please bring skip washing powder or liquid with you and ask Anna to do the laundry for you, only Anna is allowed to operate the washing machine.

All cushions on the outside deck must be brought in at night as they will get wet overnight from the sea air.

All cleaning materials are supplied.

To try and keep everyone safe and happy, please take note of some of our important House Rules:

The speed limit in the resort is 10km/hr.
Please respect the 10:30pm noise restriction - Loud music is not much fun when you are not at the party.
No fireworks are allowed.. Nearly all of our houses are made of wood and this could go horribly wrong. No children under the age of 18 are allowed to ride a quad bike. (Please note that this is Mozambiquean law, not our rules).
No littering. We know this sounds really obvious, but you would be amazed. And, we would really appreciate it if you removed two pieces of rubbish from the beach each time you go.
No unattended open fires. Yip, we already said it, the houses are made of wood and we don't want to light up the sky.
There is a fish cleaning/gutting station near security. Please use this area so we can contain the smell and keep it clean so you don't get a fly in your drink.
For security reasons, all casual labour must be sourced via the Mar Azul Manager. No access card, no entry.
Guests must advise Security in advance of any visitors. If their name is not at Security, they will not be allowed access. Abuse of the Security staff will absolutely not be tolerated. They are here to look after us, so please treat them with respect.

1 ply toilet paper (please dont use 2 ply toilet paper, it blocks the septic system)

STAFF TIP
There is no compulsory staff tip, however, a gratuity is always welcome.

Should you be unable to travel to your destination and honor your booking due to Covid-19 restrictions that relate to border closure or provincial lockdown GoBundu will issue you with a postponement voucher. Should any person/s test positive for COVID-19 prior to arrival and not be able to travel, no refund or postponement will be permitted.
