The beach house is an hour and a half from Maputo and twenty minutes from the South African border. Both roads require 4 x 4 vehicles for the last ten minutes on a sand road to Malongane.
The house is located in Kangela Estate, a secure eco-estate. Our house is isolated on a dune between a coastal forest and ocean.
The downstairs open-plan, double-volume living area, has concrete floors going out to a wooden deck around the pool. Leading directly to the beach.
The reception area leads to the lounge, dining room, and well-equipped kitchen, with a washing machine and tumble drier.
Upstairs, there are four bedrooms all ensuite. They have full and partial sea views. The house sleeps ten comfortably.

Bedroom 4 - 2x Singles
Each bedroom has fans and mosquito nets. All linen and towels are provided.
The house comes with a television with full DStv (satellite)
Complimentary WIFI
It is serviced daily by our staff, Thembi, and Sergio.
The borehole water is safe for consumption. We also have a purifier in the scullery. Should you prefer bottled water, it is available in the village.
Outside there is a boma with a firepit, a built-in wooden braai, and a pizza oven.
Quad bikes, jet skis, and boats are parked at the entrance of the estate and can be launched from the Ponta Malongane Dive Centre (PMDC) All diving is booked there.

The swimming pool at this house has no safety features. Use of the swimming pool and the associated amenities and facilities is strictly at your own risk.
CLEANING FEE
• Daily Rates (please include the day of arrival and day of departure):
o Housekeeper: MZN 500 /R150
o The gardener: MZN 250 /R75
REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT:
A refundable breakage deposit of R10 000 is payable 1 month before arrival and refunded within 14 days of departure.
EARLY And LATE CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT
Late check-out is on request only. This is due to incoming bookings on the day of your departure. Should the house be available, we will deduct the extra charge of R1500.00 from your refundable breakage deposit, check out no later than 3 pm.
No pets are permitted. Loud music, parties, and functions will not be allowed. House rules in all Estates have a noise level cut-off of 10:30 pm. Should you not adhere to these rules the full breakage deposit will be retained.

Friendly people and amazing vibe.
The whole relaxed vibe in Ponta Malongane.
Great place to visit, heading back in a couple of months. Bars/restaurants - 360, Ninho's, Drunken Clam, Sunset shack were our favourites and have great staff.
360 bar was really nice, as the name suggests the view was incredible. Further towards Ponta du Ora is die Malboerbar. This was probably the best bar we went to in terms of prices, food and the vibe.
We enjoyed nature, quietness, being without TV, playing board games, driving around in sandy roads to explore, watching the whales from our deck, visit the local little shops.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the locals.
