The Capital Mirage 704 by CTHA is a self-catering apartment located in a secure building, situated in the heart of the trendy De Waterkant area, in Cape Town city centre. The building is ideally located near to an array of business and leisure facilities, and is approximately 21 km from Cape Town International Airport.
This seventh-floor apartment can accommodate 2 adults and 1 or 2 children, and comprises 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. The bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, and there is a sleeper couch in the living area for 1 or 2 children. The bathroom is fitted with a bath and a shower, a basin, and a toilet. The fully equipped kitchen contains appliances to cook meals, including crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, as well as a dishwasher and a washing machine for convenience. An iron and an ironing board is available too.
The adjacent open-plan living area is air-conditioned and features a Smart TV connected to the free fibre Wi-Fi, so guests can stream media. The lounge contains a sliding door that opens onto a small sunny balcony. The apartment also has a laptop-size safe to store valuables.
A secure, dedicated parking bay is assigned to this apartment in the building. In addition, the building boasts a gym, a rooftop swimming pool, and the well-known Sky Bar.

There is an additional Refundable Breakage Deposit of R 1 000 that is NOT included in the quote and payable directly to the establishment.
Key & Breakage Deposit:
A standard key & breakage deposit is payable before or at check-in. This amount depends on the standard of the apartment and may be changed at owner’s / management’s discretion. The following types of payments are accepted:
Secure online payment / Pre-authorisation link that can be sent directly to you or sent with the check in host on the day of arrival (preferred). This is for all short term stays less than 28 nights only.
If no credit card will be available upon check in and for all stays more than 28 nights; the deposit is payable via EFT but needs to bank before arrival.
If none of the two options above was actioned a non-refundable cash payment must be made before check in can be completed.
Deposits will be refunded between 7 and 14 working days after bank confirmation letter has been received, should everything be in order.
As well as a non-refundable R300 meet & greet for check-in outside of office hours on weekdays, and weekends after 18:00 (6:00pm)

I enjoy it being quite low key and quirky and mixing with locals as well as tourists and having a few good eateries, bars and coffee shops nearby with easy walking distance into the city centre and the waterfront and Green Point with short taxi rides to beach areas.
