This brick home is situated on one of the most well-managed housing estates in Ponta Malongane. The house is comprised of four en-suite bedrooms, sleeping eight adults and two children under the age of twelve. The house has a panoramic seafront view as well as a private swimming pool and a private walkway leading to the beach. A 4x4 is required for the last stretch of sandy roads to the Estate.
A double-story house with three en-suite bedrooms downstairs and the main bedroom upstairs. All 4 bathrooms have a shower, basin, and toilet plus there is a separate guest toilet upstairs. All 4 bedrooms have enough shelves and hanging space to unpack your clothes and feel right at home. The house windows and sliding doors have mosquito flyscreens to keep the evenings cool and the mosquitos out. There are ceiling fans above all the beds and living areas. The main bedroom also has an air conditioner. In addition, stand-up fans are available in all rooms.
There is a full-time housekeeper named Sarah as well as a gardener Duncan to assist you. Duties include washing dishes, doing all of your laundry (bring own washing powder), washing cars, carry your beach gear to and from the beach, and also tending to the general cleaning of the house. Ask them upon arrival to unpack your stuff, demonstrate to you the house and surroundings, and please familiarise yourself with the whereabouts of the fire extinguishers externally and in the kitchen as well as the location of the gas bottle.
UPSTAIRS
The main bedroom upstairs has a king-size bed that overlooks the ocean. The bedroom has a sliding door opening onto an outside patio with two single, comfy chairs and a coffee table to enjoy your early morning coffee or relax in the afternoon and read a book.
The open-plan kitchen and lounge are also situated upstairs and have 180 sea views. The kitchen is well equipped with all the crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, gas hob, two fridge/freezers, and a chest freezer required for self-catering. The lounge has a sliding door opening onto the outside breakfast deck, furnished with a long wooden table and benches seating ten people and 4 comfortable deck chairs as well as 6 bar stools where sundowners can be enjoyed whilst looking at the sea.
DOWNSTAIRS
There are three bedrooms downstairs: Bedroom two has one queen size bed and a bunk bed, sleeping four people of which two can only be children under twelve. The bedroom is very spacious and has a sliding door opening up onto the outside deck. Bedroom three has a queen size bed and a sliding door opening up onto the outside deck. Bedroom four is also very spacious, has two single beds that can be converted to a king-size bed (just ask Sarah). There is a sliding door that opens up onto the pool area. There is a private boma under the trees with a latte fence closing the boma in, creating a private, outside braai area in the afternoon under the cool shady trees pleasant or a romantic evening braai with lantern lights (ask Duncan). Chairs are provided. The boma floor is beach sand that is topped up regularly with sand from the beach in front of the estate.

Ponta Malongane Reviews
The whole relaxed vibe in Ponta Malongane.
Great place to visit, heading back in a couple of months. Bars/restaurants - 360, Ninho's, Drunken Clam, Sunset shack were our favourites and have great staff.
360 bar was really nice, as the name suggests the view was incredible. Further towards Ponta du Ora is die Malboerbar. This was probably the best bar we went to in terms of prices, food and the vibe.
We enjoyed nature, quietness, being without TV, playing board games, driving around in sandy roads to explore, watching the whales from our deck, visit the local little shops.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the locals.
