Namwi Island is situated about 10 km from Katima Mulilo and lies on the banks of the Zambezi River. This tranquil setting is the ideal stopover to continue your journey through the Caprivi or to Zambia, Botswana and Zimbabwe.
The fully equipped self-catering accommodation consists of double, twin or family self-catering chalets with en-suite bathrooms and a kitchen facility. Budget chalets and campsites are also available, which have use of the communal ablution blocks with hot showers and a shared laundry and scullery area. Each chalet and campsite has an individual braai facility.
A thatched lapa and swimming pool area is perfect for guests to relax and outdoor seating areas are provided. A kiosk is available that offers ice, braai packs and wood. 24-hour security is provided.

Katima Mulilo is situated in the far north-east of Namibia, within the Caprivi Strip. It is the regional capital of the Caprivi. At the same time, Katima Mulilo is the border town to Zambia and is connected by a bridge with the town of Shesheke in Zambia. This Katima Mulilo Bridge was inaugurated in 2004.
Namwi Island is the perfect location for outdoor activities like bird-watching, with about 400 species recorded in this area.
Boat trips on the mighty Zambezi River and fishing trips which includes beautiful sunset cruises, will take your breath away.
