More info about Misty cliffs
Misty Cliffs is a conservation village on the Cape Peninsula coast surrounded by the Table Mountain National Park and a private Fynbos nature reserve, overlooking the wild Atlantic ocean, about 15 Minutes from Cape Point Reserve.
Enjoy breathtaking views that sweep the bay, the ever changing sea, spectacular sunsets and a dramatic mountain backdrop. Meander down to the local beach and explore rock pools or settle down to a delicious snooze to the sound of the waves breaking below. It is the most picturesque place to rent a holiday house.
Misty Cliffs is well known for surfers to enjoy themselves and often Southern Right whales play in the waters below Misty Cliffs from late winter to early spring. The crayfish factory on Witsand Island prepares fresh seafood for export and is open to the public by appointment.
About Cottages
Guests escape the noise and bustle of lodges by opting to stay in either fully self-catering or bed and breakfast cottages. Self-catering cottages are a home away from home and come fully equipped with everything guests need. Most self catering cottages also come with a cleaning service, Dstv, and a private patio/entertainment area. Guests who opt for bed and breakfast cottages enjoy their own private patio/entertainment area, luxury amenities, Dstv, and cleaning service. There is often a small kitchenette, if guests wish to do a little cooking, and a relaxing lounge area. Cottages are ideal for families, small groups of friends and couples wishing for a more private retreat.
