Tucked away against the foothills of the Franschhoek mountains, our self-catering cottages offer a relaxed getaway in Africa's food-and-wine capital. The cottages are rustic and unpretentious, they are situated above our boutique wine farm and cellar.
The cottages are not serviced daily but a cleaner can be organised at a small fee.
The kitchenettes are small and equipped with basic cooking appliances. Small simple meals can be made using the counter top oven which has two hot plates. Our single cottages (Cottages 1, 2 & 3) have small fridges with limited freezer space.

Franschhoek Reviews
Clean, feels safe and beautiful views and hikes.
The village vibe and how safe it is. Also, everyone can walk to where they want to go, instead of getting into a car every time.
Weather, shops, restaurants. Access to vineyards, trips, park run.
Holiday atmosphere without crowded chaos.
Wine farms, street cafes, Hussar's Restaurant, cleanliness.!
Beautiful area. So much good wine and food and great accom!
There are a vast variety of coffee shops and restaurants, the sky is the limit when it comes to satisfying your tummy.
What a fantastic experience on the Franschoek Wine Tram! 10 stars from us. Take some time to research which estates you would like to visit to choose the best route. We chose the Grey route and stopped at Franschoek Cellar, Leopards Leap and Rickety Bridge as these were all child friendly options. We will definitely be back without the kids ;) Also, great service and food at the River Café.
Views, restuarants, wine.
Wine tram. Conveniently located one hour outside of Cape Town.
