Marichel is a large, luxury, ground floor apartment overlooking the magnificent Thompson’s Bay of Ballito/Chakas Rock.
It has 4 bedrooms with three of the bedrooms en-suite and the 4th bedroom has a bathroom adjacent it. Two of the bedrooms have King size beds and the other 2 have 2 single beds each. The 3 en-suite bedrooms have air conditioning and there are ceiling fans through out the apartment. The main bedroom also has a TV with full DSTV package. A camp cot is
available upon your request….and if need be we can supply a second camp cot. We just ask that clients bring their own linen for camp cots if possible. All the linen is 100% cotton and
we supply both bath and beach towels.
We also supply beach baskets for your use down to
the beach.
The apartment has a separate TV Lounge with TV on a full DSTV Package. There is a full equipped kitchen for all of your self catering needs. There is 2 separate stand up fridges and a separate freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, tumble drier, large oven and stove,
microwave and nespresso coffee machine (bring your own coffee pods). The kitchen is also equipped with a variety of smaller appliances to make your life comfortable – A Home Away
from Home
There is a open plan dining room with a 12 seater table and chairs. The 2nd lounge off the dining room is comfortable with a bar area which is equipped with a bar fridge and another TV with full DSTV package. This opens up to the undercover patio with another 8 seater dining table and also a comfortable lounge area.
The patio is level to the large lawn area with 4 loungers and a very large 14 seater table & bench with large outdoor umbrellas. You
can sit and relax on the loungers and take in the beautiful view of the beach and sea where in season you can watch the Dolphins and Whales frolic in the ocean.
There is a braai area and we supply a Gas & a charcoal braai for your use.
The beach is accessible via a security
gate at the bottom of the garden and there is a communal pool at the entrance of the
complex.
The apartment is serviced daily except Sundays and Public Holidays (this can be arrange at
an extra charge if required).
Your vehicles can park in the double lock-up garage on the
same level as the entrance into the apartment and there is plenty of undercover right outside of the entrance to the apartment.
In the garage there are for your use Beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler box and a number of buckets, spades and fishing nets for the
kiddies.
The views from the apartment of the huge Tidal pool which is known as “Charlie’s Pool” are absolutely magnificent .
The seas and the pristine beach with life guards and lovely little rock
pools are a beach goers paradise.
This is a perfect location for a Family Holiday, Romantic
setting or tranquil getaway. The Durban International King Shakas Airport is approximately
20km away. There are many shops, restaurants and other interesting attractions close by.
Daily Game Drives can be arranged with Tour Guides in the area.
Marichel 1 offers free Wi-fi.
We can also offer a Baby Car Seat for your use – we ask for an additional R1000.00 deposit if
wanting to use the car seat – it is refundable if the Car Seat comes back to us in a good
condition and nothing broken after use. To be checked before departure.
