Simon's Town Country Club offers outdoor activities in the form of golf and squash. Sea Kayaking is popular in the bay, kayaks can be rented at the Simon's Town waterfront. Horse riding available from Imhoff farm (about 20 minutes away by car) The Boulders Beach, Long Beach , Sea Forth Beach (10 mins away by car), The Cape Point Nature Reserve (15 mins away by car), Shark cage diving from the Simon's Town waterfront (10 mins away), Scratch Patch with its semi-precious stones (5 mins away), Kalk Bay fishing village, with all its stores and little restaurants, pubs ( 20 mins away), Cape Town city center, about 45 minutes away with all its attractions i.e. Table Mountain, The Castle of Good Hope, Robben Island, the V&A Waterfront, Two Oceans Aquarium and all its historical sites etc.

The buzz and quaintness.
The quaintness, cleanliness and lovely places to walk around.
It really is a must see town, there is a scratch patch with the most beautiful stones. Boulders beach is a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy the penguins and plenty of shops to browse, plus a very nice yacht club with plenty of spots to choose from to grab something to eat.
Everything is central.
The quiet tranquility :-)
The town itself is amazing, historical and quaint. The view of the bay and the beach were breathtaking.
