Claremont in the Southern Suburbs is popular for its great shopping! It has two connecting malls: The Link and Cavendish Square which is ranked as one of South Africa’s premier shopping and entertainment centres! A vibrant business district ensure everybody’s needs are catered for.
Cavendish Square has over 200 stores including clothing boutiques, up market jewelers, bookstores, restaurants and coffee bars and is a top cinema destination. Claremont has an excellent variety of restaurants and coffee shops and a nightlife that appeals to the younger set. There is a good transport infrastructure - trains, buses, mini-bus taxis, sedan taxis and car close to Newlands cricket and rugby stadiums.
