Impangele Mountain Lodge  Verified Listing

Perfect location and setting, but a few surprises. Firstly the road to the lodge requires a vehicle with high clearance. Only one unit had a double bed option. The clubhouse is perfect for bad weather days and has everything you need for a cosy indoor braai evening. Absolutely loved the vegetation and the views. Awesome hosts. Definitely worth a visit.

Awsome place, just need to make the clubhouse bigger, place gets crowded if we are more than one company hanging out....and warm water in the clubhouse shower.

Die rustigheid het ons nodig gehad, weg van alles en almal bietjie aleen tyd ..die view van bo af was asemrowend,. die hut huisie perfek en die klubhuis netso pragtig. Elphas, die man wat oorsien by Impangele Mountain Lodge, is baie behulpsaam en die mooiste maniere, die pad op is bietjie rof maar as jy eers da bo kom vergeet mens van die pad op...ons sal definitief weer gaan.. Dankie Duncan en Rose vir julle wegsteek plekkie in die berg..en ook Elphas vir die instandhouding van die plek!

Nice accommodation and super hospitality.

We picked the perfect place to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The drive up the mountain was unexpected but the beauty of the Mountain Lodge and it’s surrounding made us forget how long it took to reach our destination. We enjoyed our view of nature and all its glory. The sunset to sunrise to sunset to sunrise was absolutely amazing. We sat on our porch and we could watch the traffic on the N1 with the birds popping in to say hello. Watching the occasional train going through the tunnel was one of my personal highlights as I’ve experienced being on a train through that specific tunnel. Our stay was just wow wow wow. Well done to the staff and team of Impangele Mountain Lodge.

After quite a drive to get up the mountain, the fantastic views and tranquility that welcomes you makes it well worth it.
