Welcome to Hluhluwe Country Cottages.
The Hluhluwe Country Cottages are located in the heart of the Elephant Coast region of KwaZulu-Natal, on a farm 1km outside of the well-known agricultural and tourism hub of Hluhluwe village. The cottages are situated on a game-fenced sanctuary bordered by the Ngweni River. Take a walk on the game farm where you can find some of the antelope species such as Common Reed Buck, Nyala, Impala, and Red & Grey Duiker. A portion of the farm has been set aside for the cultivation of mangoes and also accommodates the world-renowned Ilala Basket Weavers, which includes a Zulu Artifacts Museum, Crafters Village Art Gallery, and an A La Carte café.
There are 6 beautiful cottages that cater for all types of travellers.

Reviews
Rooms are a good size. Kitchen utensils are well stocked. Having a pub and restaurant on the premises is very convenient. We will definitely go back as it's very central to game parks and places of interest.
We had a pleasant stay. The place is really private which was great and there's a trail which is accessible. The cafe nearby is a great advantage. There's even an emergency light due to load shedding and a helpful booklet with things to do and emergency numbers which you hardly find in an accommodation and loads of tea coffee and sugar and milk.
It was the best experience ever, home away from home.
The Country Cottages are in a very quiet, peaceful rural setting. The lounge, three bedrooms and bathrooms of Aloe Cottage are spacious. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and airconditioning. The kitchen is very well-equipped. There's free firewood, charcoal and firelighters. There's also a jacuzzi on the veranda (we didn't use it). The swimming pool was sparkling. The staff in the restaurant and shop were very friendly and welcoming. Eunice, the housekeeper, is also friendly and efficient. Aloe Cottage is good value for money. I highly recommend it.
Very comfortable Cottages with everything you need for self-catering. Nice countryside farm Feeling, although not far (3 Minutes drive) from Shops in Hluhluwe and only 20 Minutes drive to Hluhluwe Nationalpark Entrance Gate. Bonus: Very clean and nice Swimming pool, Cafe and recommendable Souvenir-Shop on the premises. We will be back !

I liked the fact that it is a stone throw from the Shopping Center in case I wanted to get something...since the cottage is self catering.
