Kuta Beach is a modern luxury complex ideally situated on the border of Margate and Ramsgate, tranquil and out of the bustle while being close to the wide section of shops, eateries, bars, nightclubs and seasonal entertainment that Margate offers. The beach is a 5 minute (400m) walk away and there is a cafe and Italian, Chinese and Indian restaurants across the road.

Our sprawling four bedroom, three bathroom unit is situated on the ground floor with a large patio leading onto green lawns, overlooking spectacular views of the waves breaking on the beach below and whales breaching in the ocean beyond. Beautifully appointed, the spacious open-plan living area provides all the comforts of home with a fully equipped kitchen (including washing machine and dishwasher), comfortable lounge with DStv Premium television and DVD, indoor dining table and al-fresco dining on the patio with gas and charcoal braai. The main bedroom has a double bed and a full en-suite bathroom, the other three bedrooms have two single beds each (can be pushed together) and share two bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms enjoy lovely sea views from bed and sliding doors to the lawn, while the other two face the rear towards the communal swimming pool. The unit has ceiling fans throughout.

The complex is secure with electric fence and remote controlled gates. The unit is allocated a single lock-up garage and there is guest parking available (first come first served). Linen is provided for all the beds but guests should bring their own beach and bath towels. Daily servicing is available on request (subject to availability and charge) but the unit is cleaned prior to your arrival and equipped with a complimentary starter toilet papers, bathroom and dishwashing soaps.

Situated 130km south of Durban, the Hibiscus Coast offers an abundance of attractions and activities. With nine world class courses the area is popular with golfers; scuba divers flock to our world famous reefs and wrecks; and families charter ocean safaris, deep sea fishing or shark cage diving trips. The magnificent Oribi Gorge, a 400m deep and 5km wide canyon, offers spectacular view sites and game drives, as well as a host of adrenalin activities including the world's highest bungi swing and world's first 'straight-down' 1km zipline, abseiling down a waterfall, white water rafting, suspension bridges, downhill scooter tours, horse riding and 4X4. The Wild Coast Sun Casino is home to a water theme park with some of the world's fastest rides and their river club offers water skiing, jet skis, speedboats, tube rides and booze cruises. We have and butterfly, snake and crocodile farms with the world's oldest croc; the world's smallest desert; the only approved motor racing and drifting circuit in the province; and our local airport offers daily flights to Johannesburg and scenic helicopter flips over the area and adjacent wild coast. But most people visit simply for our perpetual warm weather and shark protected, world-class Blue Flag status beaches and lagoons with canoes, pedal boats, umbrellas and beach chairs for hire; and ice cream, cocktails and curios for sale. Host to the famous Sardine Run, the annual Bike Week spectacle and revolving beach events, there is never a dull moment on the Hibiscus Coast. Whether you are looking for a relaxing beach holiday, an adrenalin filled escapade, or a wining, dining, clubbing and pubbing shindig, the Hibiscus Coast offers it all, and more.

Ramsgate has the most beautiful beaches and we love the Blue Lagoon restaurant and Waffle House little complex. The people are friendly even at the local Spar.

Wish we had more time here. It is beautiful and not too rushed (at least out of season).
Beaver Creek coffee plantation, Wagon Saloon and the Waffle House are definite must visits.

Ramsgate is a small and quiet town with so much to do. The beach is clean and have beach markets and restaurants on the beach. I love it! Will never go somewhere else for my holiday. Children are save and easy to keep them busy.
