Ohange Lodge is the destination for anyone seeking to make the most of the tranquility for which Namibia is famous.
The name Ohange is derived from the Herero word 'peace'. Whether you while away the time watching nature's television from the restaurant and patio, or prefer to soak up the sun on the pool terrace with a refreshing drink in hand, Ohange will rejuvenate your soul and tantalize your senses. Our guests of honour are invited to a home-cooked meal beneath the twinkling stars while enjoying the local night wildlife at the waterhole.
Let the warmth of the blazing camp fire surround you, while your hosts Karla and Justus entertain you with their experiences and vast knowledge of Namibia. Whether you are an ardent birder or a trigger happy camera-man, Ohange ensures a memorable vacation with a number of activities to cater for all walks of life, families, romantic break-away, the young and the wise. We look forward to welcoming you!

Attractions:Our aim at Ohange is to enjoy the wildlife as it was intended - naturally. To entice you away from the cool of the pool or the shade of the Lodge verandah we organise exhilarating morning nature walks and afternoon game-viewing drives in search of Eland, Damara Dik-dik, Giraffe, Burchell's Zebra, Hartmann's Mountain Zebra, Waterbuck, Impala, Black Wildebeest, Kudu, Oryx, Cheetah and many more . . .
If you prefer a more leisurely approach, you are invited to take a guided hike or horse-ride to explore the area - an ideal way to discover some of the extraordinarily abundant bird-life. Or the more adventurous could go out on foot without a guide. After dusk we venture out to search for the treasures of the night - Bushbabies (or nagapies meaning little night monkeys), Porcupines, Genet, Owls and Nightjars. With luck we might even encounter a free-roaming Leopard!

Reviews
We particularly appreciated the landscape with the animals, the welcome and the dinner at the table guests. The rooms are OK, but a little more comfort in the bathroom will be appreciated. It is a good stop between Windhoek and Etosha, not too far from Etosha.
Ohange offers the experience of staying in a beautiful game park lodge without paying an exorbitant price. The accommodations are comfortable and the service is friendly and personal. The game viewing is not extensive but the area is very beautiful. A highlight was a two-hour game walk with an experienced guide.
About 40 of us spent 2 nights at Ohange Lodge. Some stayed in rooms and others camped. The surrounds are amazing, and the animals are very tame moving around the Lodge. We saw Eland, Springbok, Wildebeest, Impala, and the list goes on. Some of the animals move within 5 meters of the guests as they roam and forage around the Lodge. The campsites have clean bathrooms with hot showers, and a large lawned area for communal braai’s and parties. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and layed out on the side of a hill under beautiful trees and natural gardens. Will definitely take the family there to experience the joy of this Lodge.
Very nice, family run lodge in the triangle Otavi, Tsumeb, Grootfontain. We were warmly welcomed by the owner Carla. A fine breakfast and a romantic dinner by the open fire with Elan, Gnus, Springbock convey Namibia feeling.
