Each chalet sleeps 4 people comfortably (2 bedrooms, one with a Queen size bed and the other with 2 single beds).
The lovely bathroom has both bath and shower, to suit all preferences.
At the swimming pool, there is a large lapa for groups to gather. The lapa has chairs and tables, worktop space, sink etc and there is a large braai area.
The Cradle of Humankind and the Magaliesburg area have a large variety of attractions - Maropeng, Sterkfontein Caves, Rhino and Lion Park. There are some lovely restaurants, spa's to treat yourselves, mountain biking routes and quaint little shops in which to browse.
In Room Facilities:
The chalets are self-catering and come fully equipped with quality linen, fluffy towels, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. The kitchen is fitted with a small stove, microwave and fridge. For those crisp winter nights, heaters will ensure your comfort. For those long balmy summer evenings, sit on your patio and enjoy a braai.
Chilling out - Just relax around the pool, or sit on the deck with your book or binoculars. Take a stroll and find a shady tree to shelter under for a picnic or a snooze.
Nature walks - Intaba Thulile boasts a wide variety of fauna and flora. Take the bird spotting list provided on a lovely walk around the reserve and see what you can spot. Walkers and hikers alike will spend many memorable hours in happy tramping.
Hiking trails - We have a number of laid-out hiking trails for you to enjoy - see the brochure in your chalet. Climb to the top of the mountain and walk along for incredible views and awesome rock formations.
Swimming - There's nothing like a cool swim for beating the summer heat. There is a beautiful swimming pool near the chalets, but far away enough for people to play without disturbing you in your siesta, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim, or a relaxing sunbathe on the loungers. Have an ice-cold drink on the Martini seat and witness the stunning sunsets over the mountains. You may be lucky and see the giraffe walk by!
