"Kief Bru, I'm lank stoked" ... If you don't understand this term, you might struggle to communicate in "The Kom". Kommetjie, our Southern Peninsula "dorpie", is a quaint fishing village and surfer's hotspot, easily accessible to the historic wine farms, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Table Mountain, V&A Waterfront, Cape Point, Chapman's Peak, Robben Island and the Simonstown Penguin colony.
Guinea Fowl House B&B has 3 tastefully decorated, en-suite bedrooms. We are superbly positioned along a greenbelt overlooking Long Beach and into Hout Bay, set in a garden filled with birdsong. With us you can be assured of all the comforts of a B&B with the rural Cape Town experience.
There is no lack of scenic walks, as well as water sport activities, an excellent golf course and horse riding adventures to keep you entertained. Experience walking with qualified guides in our mountains with the last remaining Chacma Baboons (www.baboonmatters.org.za).
Our guests can participate in yoga, surf lessons or spoil yourself at the end of the day at the Health and Beauty Salon. You will be served a hearty breakfast before heading out to a day of sightseeing in vibrant Cape Town, the beaches of False Bay and the world-famous Atlantic seaboard or just relaxing on the veranda enjoying the sounds of the waves and birdsong. For the surfers there are a few secret wave spots such as Long Beach, Sunset, Outer Kom and a bunch of other breaks in between.

This is a perfect spot for a quiet time away. The bath is divine and the view from the room is beautiful. And the beach is literally a few steps away. Michele makes it feel like home. Thanks for a lovely visit!
Lovely beach, home in the perfect location with a friendly host in the heart of Kommetjie. Easy beach, park and mountain path access right from your door. Wake up and have breakfast with a 10/10 world class view with beautiful birds landing in the trees around you. End the day with a glass of wine whilst watching the breathtaking Kommetjie sunsets and spectacular moonrise. Would recommend to anyone!

We actually stayed Jan 2012 but the date wouldn't change from 2011. We had a brilliant time at Guinea Fowl and Michelle was a great hostess. The rooms were ideal and the huge breakfsts were smashing. She made us vert welcome and we would love to go again.
